State Senator Brad Pfaff Endorses Joel Brennan for Governor

La Crosse, WI – Today, State Senator Brad Pfaff (D-Onalaska) officially endorsed Joel Brennan for Governor, joining Brennan at a press conference at Riverside Park in La Crosse to make the announcement.

"Joel Brennan isn’t your typical candidate, he’s a workhorse, not a show horse. He shows up, gets things done, and treats people right. He knows how state government actually works, and he's the kind of person you want running this state,” said State Senator Brad Pfaff. “We have a real shot at winning the governorship and flipping both the Senate and the Assembly in November and then going on the offense in the New Year, but that only happens with the right person at the top of the ticket. Joel is that person."

Pfaff represents Wisconsin's 32nd Senate District, covering La Crosse, Vernon, and parts of Monroe and Trempealeau counties. The two worked together at the Wisconsin Department of Administration after Pfaff's removal as DATCAP Secretary by Senate Republicans in 2019, the first time in over thirty years the Senate had fired a governor's cabinet appointee.

Brennan welcomed the endorsement from his longtime colleague and friend.

"Brad Pfaff has spent his career fighting for Wisconsin farmers and rural communities, and he has never forgotten where he came from and who he represents," said Joel Brennan. "I am honored to have his support in my race for Governor and look forward to continuing to work with him to strengthen rural communities all across Wisconsin."
