Joel Brennan Launches Statewide TV Ad Introducing Himself to Wisconsin Voters…With Some Help From His Kids

Milwaukee, WI – Today, Joel Brennan became the first Democratic candidate for governor to launch a TV advertising campaign, going up with a six-figure statewide TV buy across broadcast, cable, and streaming that introduces him to voters across Wisconsin with help from two people who know him best: his kids.

The ad features Joel Brennan's children, Allison and Conor, alongside his wife, Audra, who walk through his work ethic, record of leading nonprofits and businesses, and serving as Governor Evers’ top cabinet official – and a few of his shortcomings – in a spot that reaches voters across Wisconsin.

"My kids may be right about my dad jokes, and they also know I have spent my whole life showing up and getting things done for Wisconsin, and that is exactly what I’ll do as governor,” said Joel Brennan. “No one in this race is more ready to fight for Wisconsin families.  On costs, on rights, and on standing up to Donald Trump. I’m ready to roll my sleeves up and get the job done."

The statewide buy makes Brennan the first Democratic candidate in the race to go on air, reflecting the campaign's growing momentum heading into the August 11 partisan primary.
